RELEASE
Merriam-Webster defines release as:
1. To set free from restraint, confinement or servitude
2. to relieve from something that confines, burdens or oppresses
Synonyms: loosen, unleash, unlock
Have you ever felt heavily burdened and craved relief? Have you desired release from the controlling parts of your life? Does the weight of life bear down and overwhelm? God promises relief from your burdens and all you need do is release them into His care. His Word reassures again and again that He will care for us and carry our burdens. Cry out – spill your heart – lay it before God and believe that He will provide!
So today and everyday that life’s burdens need to be released – Come to Jesus – He will give you rest!

Great post Mary! I constantly need reminders that I need to stop trying so hard to answer my own prayers. That is God’s place to do this, and he has the best for me always. It is difficult because I am only a human and unable accept this sometimes. 🙂

I love this! “Release” was my OneWord a few years back (before I even knew that was a thing!) Stopping by from Barbie’s Weekend Brew! So glad we are neighbors!
I have been reading Lysa TerKeurst’s book The Best Yes and she uses this word a lot in the book. I also just felt very burdened by some things this past week and knew that God wanted me to release them to Him and then share with others. Have a blessed week!
